Role Overview
SecureWorks seeks a talented, self-directed individual to join our Global Sales Strategy and Operations team lead programs supporting partner / channel strategy and operations; Go-to-Market development including territories, data and targeting; and sales efficiency through process and tools.

The Director, Global Sales Operations will lead a team of data, process and technical analysts and will have deep involvement in our go-to-market and growth strategies by developing the approach for supporting a new partner / channel strategy and direct sales go-to market strategies, via territory definition and management as sales teams continue to expand. In addition, the role will have responsibility for defining data quality initiatives - to enhance and protect sales data (both inputs and outputs) and for defining programs that leverage data as an asset to drive increased sales results. The Director of Global Sales Operations will be the primary liaison to the functional groups that create or depend on sales data accuracy (Marketing, Sales, Operations, etc) and will also interact with the BI team within IT and the analytics team in Sales Ops.

The Director of Global Sales Operations will evangelize the importance of data quality practices within sales and will define and implement a data governance strategy. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with a variety of business data solutions (Hoovers, D&B, etc) and experience with B-to-B sales teams and territory definition.

This position is a key stakeholder to our Channel partner team and our Salesforce.com instance and the team provides basic end-user support.

Responsibilities
- Develop strategic roadmap to support new partner / channel programs from a sales and partner operations perspective
-Develop strategic roadmap to enhance the quality of sales related data. Gain cross functional support and drive component initiatives through development, implementation and adoption.
-Develop a sales data governance strategy and plan
-Drive on-going territory evaluation and refinement efforts to provide sales personnel - both existing and new team members - with account lists of increasing accuracy
-Develop plan for incorporating international business account data into sales/marketing processes
-Develop strong cross functional relationships with sales, sales management, IT, product, marketing, and training to effectively collaborate with business stakeholders
-Develop expert level of awareness of all sales segments use of technology platforms and sales process and knowledge of all systems and tools used in the sales process, from lead generation to service delivery
- Provide basic end-user support for Salesforce.com
-Maintain fully staffed team of process and business analysts, data analysts and data governance professionals; recruit top talent and lead the development of existing team members to achieve higher levels of performance

As a managed security provider, Dell SecureWorks expects its employees to understand and apply commonly known security practices and possess a working knowledge of applicable industry controls such as NIST 800-53. Employees will be expected to acknowledge their security responsibilities in writing prior to gaining access to company systems. Employees will be required to maintain a working knowledge of local security policies and execute general controls as assigned.

Requirements
- 7 to 10 years or more experience working in systems and data, especially business account lead sources
- Experience managing team of business analysts, data analysts, data governance professionals, salesforce.com support and initiatives
- Expertise in data quality profiling with demonstrated expertise in the design and development of data quality monitoring processes
- Deep experience with Salesforce.com and related applications
- Ability to gain consensus from multiple stakeholders and ability to lead major change efforts requiring cross functional leadership collaboration
- Strong project management and organization skills
- Advanced MS Office Excel skills, business intelligence and visualization software and other tools such as SQL, Microstrategy, CRMFusion, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or equivalent

Preferred Requirements
- Master's degree
- Experience with handling of international data sets
- Data related certifications are a plus, such as CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional)
