Software Dev Sr. Advisor (IH) - Bangalore, India (8- 10 Years)

Role overview:
Hands-on experience on complex design and in-depth development & support experience of Oracle BRM (version 7.5) with good knowledge of end to end BSS practices and on specific areas like Customer Management, Pricing, Rating, Billing, Invoicing and Payments / Collections. Shall have good analytical skills, and good team player. Shall be capable to take ownership and lead a sub system to from requirements to design to deliver with end-to-end understanding.

Role & Responsibilities:
• Shall be able to work as an individual contributor and provide the guidance to other team members. Track and mentor on daily basis in BRM 7.5 implementation
• Should have the capability and experience to handle host design meets session in designing new solutions from scratch.
• Should possess and have very good communication & presentation skills
• Should be able to handle pressure and work under similar situations.
• Incident management - logging, prioritizing and resolving incidents and track them against various SLAs.
• Problem management - resolving recurring incidents permanently, performing break fixes and implementing preventative action items.
• Configuration management - tracking the versions of key system artifacts and source code in version control software.
• Change Management - submitting code defect requests, documenting impact and benefits, obtaining approval by a Stream lead/TPM and release coordinate and managing the implementation using ITG.
• Integration Engineering Manage code deployments and migrations through the environment stack from Development, to SIT, to UAT, To PSUP, to Prod .
• Monitor system availability.
• Manage and support high-availability 24/7 production systems with an on call rotation.
• Research, develop, and deploy automation scripts and tools to improve the teams overall efficiency
• Document and execute disaster recovery processes.
• Follow proper escalations procedures.
• Excellent listening skills, self-starter, assertive, thorough, follows established procedures and the ability to meet deadlines
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work well within a team environment.

Functional Requirements :
• Should have delivered successfully Oracle BRM 7.5 integration, customizations on multiple projects
• Should have understanding of end to end BSS practices integration like Ordering, Provisioning and Billing systems
• Should have exposure to areas including Customer Management, Pricing, Rating, Billing, Invoicing and Payments / Collections
• Should have exposure to credit card processing and compliance.

Technical Requirements:
• A minimum of 7+ years of work experience on below technical skills:
• Should have worked extensively on Oracle BRM 7.5 development
• Should have worked extensively min 7 years of development in C, JAVA, SQL, Shell Scripting.
• Should have worked extensively on system integration with other sub systems like Customer Care, Ordering, Provisioning.
• Should possess knowledge on version control of source, building and delivering to test environment

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a related field (CS, IS) and Excellent design and development experience in Oracle BRM 7.5 end-to-end solution delivery. Should carry at least 3 years of experience in leading a BRM 7.5 development team with excellent communication and analytical skills.
