Job Summary

Works with named or large global accounts to provide product solutions, develop new business, and to ensure satisfaction, and maintain positive ongoing relationships. Works with other internal sales personnel to propose specific solutions for a given global account. Responsible for the overall sales strategies and generating results from the client. Coordinates and directs all sales activities and selling resources globally.

Key responsibilities include :
1) planning and development of overall global account sales strategy

2) maintaining account presence by providing a high value-added working relationship with senior customer personnel

3) identifying short and long -term sales opportunities (up to and beyond a semiannual cycle) This role serves as lead to the global account team and may have direct or indirect reports in key inter/multinational customer locations Customarily and regularly engaged at client facilities.

Principal Responsibilities

Responsible for managing environments to instill best practices across all Global Accounts

Manages a team of individual contributors

Can reach appropriate resolution in many varied situations without damaging internal or external relationships

Ensures high post-sales satisfaction that enables repeat business with customers

Drives Global Account Manager behavior through corporate mandates, coaching, and sales relationship alignment Identifies and resolves issues before they become problems

Ability to influence others to achieve results

Ability to lead, motivate and direct a workgroup of individual contributors

Ability to prioritize projects and/or deliverables

Ability to drive accurate and timely decisions

Ability to manage in a matrix environment Possesses operational command of the business

Education & experience
Typically 15+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience •

3+ years managerial/leadership experience
